We have a small flock of laying hens that provide a few customers with weekly eggs. Demand far outstrips supply and we are not able to accomodate any new customers.
When buying eggs, please remember that not all eggs are created equally! If you live in the Walworth County area and looking for truly healthy and properly raised eggs we recommend the following local producers: VDB Organic Farms and Zinniker Family Farm. The other commonly found brown eggs found in the area are raised in confinement and not fed organic grains.
Meat Birds & Turkeys:
We will be experimenting with raising organically fed, pasture-raised turkeys and chickens this summer. Availibility will be limited. We do not raise Cornish-Cross 'mutant' chickens, therefore our birds do not have outrageously sized breasts. They are full of flavor, but more importantly, they do not die from heart attacks nor fall over from the weight of their breasts.
